Lorraine Baise, 79, Kingsport, went to her heavenly home Friday, July 6, 2007.
She was born in Raleigh, NC. Mrs. Baise had been a member of First Baptist Church for 52 years where she served as a Sunday School teacher for many classes. Her favorite class was the two year olds which she taught with her late husband, Bill.
Mrs. Baise was also involved with Celebrate Recovery and Interfaith Hospitality.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Baise; parents, Robert and Curtis Guyton; and one brother, R. D. Guyton, Jr.
Surviving are three daughters, Ann Armbrister and husband, Wayne, Jan Davis and husband, Vic, Nancy Wood and husband, David, all of Kingsport; one son, William W. ?Skeet? Baise Jr. and wife, Trish of Vail, Arizona; thirteen grandchildren and one on the way; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport.
Private graveside services will be conducted Monday at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Dr. Ron Davis, Dr. Marvin Cameron, and Rev. Mitchell M. Whisnant officiating.
