Louella Cox Good

Louella Cox Good, 91, of Fall Branch, entered into eternal rest Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Four Oaks Health Care Center following a period of declining health. Mrs. Good was a lifelong resident of Washington County and was a daughter of the late Henry D. and Essie Baines Cox. She was a homemaker and a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and CNA's at Four Oaks Health Care Center.

She will be remembered as a loving sister, aunt and friend who loved to garden, cooking, and visiting the sick and will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, A.B. Good in 2011, and two brothers, J.D. Cox and Harless Cox.

Louella is survived by two sisters, Faye Malone of Jonesborough and Dorothy Tipton of Melbourne, FL; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friend and nephew, Dale Oliver of Knoxville.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1-2:00 pm at Oak Hill Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Vic Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Paul Cox, Ralph Baines and Ricky Baines will serve as honorary pallbearers.
