Louise Hoover Lou Birchfield

Louise Hoover Lou Birchfield, 81, of Kingsport, passed away at 5:12 p.m. Tuesday November 2, 2010 at Indian Path Medical Center.

A lifelong resident of Sullivan County, she was an Eastman retiree. Lou was a member of the Heritage First Church of God. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her father, Claude Hoover, Sr.; her mother, Laura Hoover; stepmother, Opal Hoover; brothers, Claude Hoover, Jr., and Tom Hoover; sisters, Hazel Hoover, Mildred Morgan, and beloved sister, Jean Kiser.

Lou is survived by a son, Ron Sage Barb, Merritt Island, FL; grandson, Andrew Sage, sister, Gene Williams, brothers, Roy Hoover Ola, Ted Hoover Charlotte, and Harris Hoover Marydell, all of Kingsport.

Services will be conducted on Friday 11-5 at 3:00 p.m. at Heritage First Church of God, 470 Rock Springs Road, with Pastor Steve Tilley officiating.
