Louise Ball Gibson, 102, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Saturday, November 17, 2012.
She was a native of Russell County, VA and has lived in Kingsport most of her life. Louise was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, C. E. and Maude Ball; siblings; her husband, James H. Gibson; and two sons, M. Daniel Gibson and James E. Gibson.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara G. Pryor and husband, Howard of Monroe, GA; two daughters-in-law, Cheryl Gibson of Kingsport and Ruth W. Gibson of Lincolnton, NC; grandchildren, David Gibson and wife T.P., Laurel Renegar and husband Doug, Dayne Pryor and wife Anne; and great-grandchildren, Linsey R. Wagner and husband Josh, Casey Renegar, Jackson Pryor, and Addy Pryor.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Calvary Baptist Church. Services will follow at 2:30 p.m. with Dr. Donnie Brannen officiating.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Holston View Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be David Gibson, Howard Pryor, Dayne Pryor, Jackson Pryor, Doug Renegar, Josh Wagner, Cecil Morelock and John Blessing.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Little, Pat Ayres, Gordon Blessing, Herbert Lewis, and Tom Blessing.
