Louise Bowser Harless, 87, of Kingsport, was called home by the Lord at 6:00 a.m., Monday, April 13, 2009. Born in Lexington County, Colorado, Louise had resided in Kingsport for most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Sunrise Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jess Harless; second husband, Henry Harless; parents, Lewis and Cora Ann Bowser; three sisters, Dorothy Ann Bowser, Betty Joe Goodson, and Polly McClain; two daughters, Loretta Morelock and Sue Hollinger; one son, Lewis Harless, and one granddaughter, Kamaron Sue Morelock.
She is survived by two sons, Stephen Harless and wife Carol of Kingsport and Ray Harless, also of Kingsport; one granddaughter, Kim Morelock and fianc Stephen Ratliff; six grandsons, Donny Harless and wife Nicole, Timmy Hollinger and wife Gen, Charles Hollinger, III and wife Rachel, Josh Harless and wife Kayla, Zachary Harless, and Chase Harless; 2 sisters, Fern Pridemore of Kingsport and Hazel Ruth Burns of Lancaster, PA; and one brother, Cecil McClain of Hawkins County, TN.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 16th from 5:00 7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Orville Dale, Rev. Lawrence E. Wolfe, and Rev. Kelly Dykes officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday at East Lawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be grandsons Donny Harless, Josh Harless, Zachary Harless, Chase Harless, Timmy Hollinger, and Charlie Hollinger. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Crawford and Ricky Crawford.
