Louise McNew, 91, of Sullivan Gardens passed away Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Indian Path Medical Center. She was born in the Mill Creek area where she lived her entire life.

Louise was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Loffa and Nicie Fink; husband, John I. McNew; one grandson, Johnathan Wayne Cox; one granddaughter, Tammy McNew; two brothers and one sister.

Louise is survived by two sons, James McNew and wife Janeene of Fall Branch, Curtis McNew and wife Libby of Kingsport; two daughters, Darlene Hensley and husband Jimmy of Kingsport, Teresa Cox and husband Ronnie of Kingsport; six grandchildren, Scotty Hensley and wife Katrina of Kingsport, Marsha Bowman and husband Mickey of Kingsport, Lori Loftis and husband Arnold of Baileyton, Chris McNew and wife Clarica of Saltville, VA, Patrick Cox and wife Dawn of Kingsport, and Sonia Hensley of Kingsport; step-granddaughter, Tammy Bolling; twelve great-grandchildren, Timothy and Hunter Hensley, Beth, Abby and Ally Bishop, Kendal Loftis, Brody and Amira McNew, and Kyndra Cox; two step-great-grandsons, William Henry and Sean Bowman; one step-great-granddaughter, Cassie Bolling; one brother, Kyle Fink and wife Helen of Kingsport; two sisters, Laverne Fink and Mary Henegar of Kingsport.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Roy Lane and Pastor Pete Smith officiating. Music will be by Timothy and Katrina Hensley.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Mill Creek Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Mickey Bowman, Arnold Loftis, Chris McNew, Scotty Hensley and Timothy Hensley.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kyle Fink and Jimmy Hensley.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Stanley Hodges, Chaplin Ron Owens, and the staff of ICU and 4th floor at Indian Path Medical Center for the love and compassion that was shown to the family.
