Louise Davenport Shibler

Louise Davenport Shibler, 83, Kingsport, TN, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at Indian Path Medical Center. She had resided in Canton, OH for most of her life and had been a resident of Kingsport for the past two years.

Her parents, Blaine and Sarah Davenport, special sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Lonnie Oaks two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

Surviving are her husband of 43 years, Harold K. Shibler, special niece and caregiver, Nancy Oaks, four nephews, Lonnie Oaks Jr. and wife Carolyn, James Oaks and wife Locella, all of Kingsport, TN; Harold Oaks and friend Patsy, Bristol, TN; Doug Oaks and wife Kathy, Church Hill, TN; several other nieces and nephews; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Paul Shibler and wife Gail, Brewster, OH

Calling hours are 6-8:00 p.m. Friday April 22, 2011 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.

Services will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Charles Bogle officiating.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be nephews.
