Lovella Wilson

Lovella Wilson, 90, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord after an extended illness April 26, 2013. She was a lifelong member of the Fordtown Baptist Church and faithful member of the Gray Eastern Star. Lovella was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She was loved by everyone.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence "Shorty" Wilson; parents, Kate and Tommy Zimmerman; son, Norman Dean Wilson; and daughter, Janice Sue Free.

Lovella is survived by her granddaughters, Jonni Webb (Jeremy); and Kim Free; and her grandsons Scott Parsons (Lajuan); and Donnie Parsons (Denise); twelve great-grandchildren; twenty-two great-great grandchildren; her sister, Edith Cox; nephew Tommy Cox (Vicki); her nieces, Alice Bishop, Kay Speck, and Sylvia Ferguson.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Bryan Moore officiating. Graveside service will follow at Tri-Cities Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Southside Mission Center, 2103 Wheeler St., Johnson City, TN, 37604.
