Lovenia "Sissy" Light

Lovenia “Sissy” Light, 84, Fall Branch, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 4, 2019.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a hard working homemaker.  She loved decorating her home for each holiday and season throughout the year.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister and 6 brothers.

Sissy is survived by her husband of 61 years, Delmer Light; daughter, Jennifer Hite and husband, Lynn; son, Jeff Light and wife, April; grandchildren, Jamie Light and husband, Eric Johnson; Jeremy Light and wife, Stephanie, and Ethan Hite; special friends, Carolyn Light, Kay Chapman and Maude Dolen; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1-3:00 pm on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Hamlet-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm with Pastor Dan Dolen officiating.  Burial will follow in Rock Springs Cemetery.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
