Loyd "Buck" Scism

Loyd "Buck" Scism, 71, of Greeneville, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012. He was well known by all. Loyd was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

He was preceded in death by his brother, LeRoy Scism, mother, Lissie Scism, and father, Guy "Doc" Scism.

Loyd is survived by his son, Loyd Scism, Jr. and wife, Melissa of Jonesborough; two grandchildren, Brandon and Camron; one great-granddaughter, Jade; sister, Nancy Thornburg of Greeneville; two brothers, Larry Scism of Baileyton, and Edd "Woody" Scism of Jonesborough; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 9th, from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson, Fall Branch. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Jim Lewis officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday, June 10th, at 2:00 pm at Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
