Lucille Marie Cleek Morelock Benson, 85, entered into rest on February 22, 2011 at University Care Center in San Diego, CA.
She was born on May 14, 1925 in Kingsport, TN to John and Lillie Harkleroad Cleek. She was a manager of an apartment complex for 30 years in San Diego.
Lucille was preceded in death by her spouses, Wilford Morelock and Ray Benson; daughter Judy Christine Morelock; parents John and Lillie Cleek; four sisters, Georgia Bragg, Kate Dray, Virginia Jordan, Darlene Rice; two brothers, James John Cleek, Leamuel Cleek; half sister Annie Mary Garrison; and several more half brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, P.C. and Shirley Cleek White of Kingsport; several nieces and nephews; and special friends in California, Kitty and Ron Weidner.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 am Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Morrison Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Chris Fields officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the home of P.C. and Shirley White, 1215 Leeland Drive, Kingsport, TN.
