Edna Lucille Darnell Williams, 87, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord and her beloved husband of 55 years on Monday, January 24, 2011.
She was born in Scott County, VA and has lived in Kingsport since 1955. Lucille was a member of Parker's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fay Williams; parents, Trigg and Mary Darnell; two brothers, George Darnell, Henry Darnell; two sisters, Bertha Mae Darnell and Hannah Rhoton.
Survivors include three daughters, Beulah Hill of Kingsport, Lovely Hess and husband, James of Kingsport, Eva Mann and husband, Jim of Kingsport; three grandchildren, Kimberly Anderson and husband, Eric of Jonesborough, Rex Weems and wife, Jennifer of Kingsport, Dylan Mann of Kingsport; five great-grandchildren, Selena Anderson, Abby Anderson, Summer Weems, Holly Weems, Parker Weems; two step great-grandchildren, Jedidiah Turner, Jenna Turner; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Parker's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. The funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday at Parker's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Calhoun and Rev. Mark Ball and Anthony Dickens officiating. Burial will follow at Church Hill Memory Gardens. Music will be provided by Anthony Dickens, the Parker family and Nathan Aquino.
Pallbearers are Anthony Dickens, Jose Aquino, Eddie Kilgore, Gary Kilgore, Henry Shell, Larry Hommell, Mike Moneyhun, Mack Begley.
