Lucille H. Wright, 94, Kingsport, TN, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2008, at SunBridge Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Grayson County, VA, she had resided in Kingsport most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Pactolus United Methodist Church. Mrs. Wright was an afghan maker and received several awards for her work.
Her husband, Henry Cole Wright and son-in-law, Bill Fletcher, and sister, Nina Lee Ellis preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Glenna Fletcher, Sulphur Springs, TN; and Gladys Gott and husband Fred, Kingsport, TN; son, Larry Wright and wife Glenda, Knoxville, TN; six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:30 p.m. Saturday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home Kingsport and any time Friday at the home of a daughter, Gladys Gott, 2908 Princeton Rd., Kingsport, TN.
Graveside services will be conducted Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Tri-Cities Memory Gardens with Pastor Buford McAmis officiating.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
