I had known Lucy my entire life. We had so much fun together and shared many laughs. I think of her often and miss her so much…I’m certain her three daughters are aware of what a remarkable woman she was…My prayers and love to each of them.

I always felt honored when Lucy called FPC while I was the receptionist/membership secretary and said "Oh I am so glad you answered the phone." She was a very special lady and is sorely missed.

I met Lucy when she came to get her hair done at Lloyd's on Shelby. Everyone loved her and I always asked her about Charlie, as we had a love of dogs in common. What a sweet and generous lady! She always sent us several kinds of sweet breads at Christmas.
She will be remembered fondly

I knew Lucy through her brother Wallace during my service as the Senior Pastor of First Presbyterian, Knoxville....and she "adopted" me as one of her friends. We would periodically chat on the phone, even after Wallace's death. Her care and interest were infectious! As she has now joined the Church Triumphant, I give thanks for her life...and for her reunions with her beloved. In the words of Matthew 25:23: "Well done, good and faithful servant!"

Lucy Zemp was a special lady and a dear friend! Lucy always made you feel better about your day, she was always much more interested in others than herself. I enjoyed every time I spent time with Lucy whether in person or on the phone catching up. Prayers of love and peace to all her girls who had the greatest of mothers out there. I will MISS Lucy so much!!!!!!!!
