Lula G. Fink

Lula G. Fink, 85, of Kingsport, passed away July 2^nd 2023 at Holston Valley Medical Center.  Lula started her professional career at Mason-Dixon Trucklines where she met her loving husband, Bill.  She began working at Prudential Life Insurance culminating as the upper east Tennessee Regional Office Manager after 39 years.  Since their retirement they traveled and “snow birded” in Florida for 25 years until the national pandemic in 2020.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Elmer Ray Gillam Jr, Iva Dell Salyer and Dana Crutchfield; and nephews, Alvin Laviere Williams and Perry Crutchfield.

Lula is survived by her husband of 64 years, Bill Fink; nephews, Bill Crutchfield and Terry Crutchfield of Johnson City, Paul Bachman and Ray (Teresa) Gilliam of Kingsport, and Eddie Taylor of Kansas City, Missouri; nieces, Iva (Jim) Rice of Kingsport, and Annadell Gilliam of Raleigh, NC; several great-nephews and nieces in Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio and Tennessee; brother-in-law, Jimmy (Debbie) Fink of Kingsport; and her dear friend of over 40 years, Donna Hicks.

The family will receive friends from 1-2pm Thursday July 6^th, 2023 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home and Memorial Park 2630 Hwy 75 N Blountville, TN. 37617. A service will follow at 2pm with Rev. Mark Knicely and Paul Bachman officiating.

Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of Peace.

In lieu of flowers it would please the family that donations be made towards helping orphaned children.
