Lydia "June" Barbee

June Barbee, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, January 31, 2019. She was a homemaker, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jacob “Jim” Barbee; parents, Sam and Pearl Cox; 6 brothers; and 5 sisters.

June is survived by 3 daughters, Beth Logan, Karen Hughes and husband, Roger, and Sharon Vicars and husband, Danny; 6 grandchildren, Christal Avery and husband, Jimmy, Amanda Osborne and husband, David, Adam Hughes and wife, Ginger, Dustin Vicars, Kelsey Logan and Ashley Vicars; several great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Clark Cox, and Landon Cox and wife, Faye; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 pm on Saturday at Double Springs Baptist Church.  The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm with Rev. Randy Waller officiating. Burial will follow in Double Springs Church Cemetery.

Family will serve as pallbearers.
