Lyndall C. Bellamy

Lyndall Bellamy, 88, of Kingsport, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015. Born September 17, 1927 in Fordtown, TN to Grover C. and Bertie Mae Chase, she was the youngest of six siblings. She grew up in Kingsport and graduated from Holston High School in 1945. Lyndall was a lifelong member of Ross Campground Methodist Church and served as church secretary and treasurer for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and spouses, and her most loving husband of sixty-five years, Virgil E. Bellamy.

Lyndall is survived by her son, Charles Bellamy and daughter-in-law, Vickie McGee Bellamy of Knoxville; sister-in-law, Ferne G. Bellamy of Gate City; and many nieces, nephews and spouses, cousins and friends.

The graveside service will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm at East Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Karl Berndt. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday at 7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport with Rev. Karl Berndt officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 207 North Boone St., Johnson City, TN 37604.
