Henry Lynn Francisco, 83, Kingsport, died on Sunday February 22, 2015 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. Lynn was born in Kingsport to Lyle and Pearl Clemons Francisco on April 30, 1931. He resided in Chicago and St. Louis before moving back home to Kingsport. He retired from Eastman after 43 years of service. Lynn was a faithful, longtime member of First Presbyterian Church of Kingsport and a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an avid golfer and gardener who loved to share his plants and knowledge. Lynn gave generously of his time and talents to his community and church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle DeWolfe Francisco and Pearl Clemons Francisco.
Lynn is survived by his loving wife of 60 wonderful years, Carol; brother, Don Francisco and wife, Ruth; son, Jeff and wife, Cathy of Batesville, IN, and their sons, Nicholas and fiancée, Jessi, and Douglas; son, Gregory and daughter-in-law, Kim Malan; granddaughter, Jillian Francisco Earhart and husband, Joseph, and her mother, Judy; grandson, Talmage; step-grandchildren, Jaison Malan and wife, Angie, Tristan Malan and wife, Elizabeth, Elise Johnson and husband, Kevin, and Christopher Malan and wife, Suzannah; 7 step-great-grandchildren; niece, Donna Horner; nephew, Richard Francisco and wife, Mary Pat; great-nephew, Josh and wife, Heather; and great-niece, Kari and husband, Travis.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 11:30 am at First Presbyterian Church with Reverend David A. Cagle and The Rev. Sharon H. Amstutz officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
