Mabel Robinson Ramey

Mabel Robinson Ramey, 84, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 23, 2016. She was a life-long resident of Kingsport. Mabel was an honest, caring and giving lady. She enjoyed cooking, and had a great personality and love for others. She attended the Church of Christ and was saved and baptized in April, 1977.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Flora Robinson; brother, Robert L. Robinson, Jr., and wife, Pat; and good friend, James Nelms.

Mabel is survived by her daughter, Sandra Fields and husband, Wes; son, Michael Ramey and wife, Janice; five grandchildren, Sarah Ramey, Beth Clendenin and husband, Rusty, Carly Fields, Michael Pulsinelli and Matt Ramey; and four great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Judy Dykes.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The service will follow at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Richard Dice officiating.

Burial will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
