Mable Wexler Tittle

Mable Wexler Tittle ?Mamaw?, 88, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord, March 25, 2007 surrounded by her family at her daughter?s home after a lengthy illness.

She was born September 14, 1918 and resided most of her life in Washington County and was a loving and devoted ?Mamaw? to everyone.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Alvin and Vira Sells Wexler, husband; Carl Tittle, seven brothers; Junior Wexler, Charlie Wexler, Otis Wexler, Clarence ?Rawhide? Wexler, Vernus ?Buddy? Wexler, Edgar Norris and William Milhorn, two sisters; Mary Williams and Helen Cox.

Surviving are her daughter, Virginia Shelton and husband Clarence; son, James ?Jimmy? Tittle and wife Mary; Greeneville, TN; sister, Bonnie Kate Crawford; four grandchildren, Donna Gillenwater and husband Billy, Junior Shelton and wife Kim, Sheila Holt and husband Mark, Frankie Tittle and wife Nikki; five great grandchildren, Michael Shelton, Lindsay Shelton, Hunter Gillenwater, Harlee Gillenwater, Austin Good Tittle; special brother-in-law, Clarence Williams; special sisters-in-law, Lula Wexler and Joan; special nieces, Mable Henley, Linda Privette and Shirley Williams; special nephews, Alvin Wexler, Jackie Wexler, Johnny Wexler, Junior Williams; special friends, Charles and Fonda Mowdy, Dennie and Vicky Ford and Kevin Lowe; all of Kingsport, TN; several other nieces nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch.

Services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Charles Mowdy officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Limestone, TN.

Pallbearers will be; Virginia Shelton, Clarence Shelton Sr., Junior Shelton, Kim Shelton, Michael Shelton, Donna Gillenwater, Billy Gillenwater, Sheila Holt, Mark Holt and Frankie Tittle and will be led by great grandchildren, Hunter and Harlee Gillenwater, Lindsay Shelton and Austin Tittle.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jackie Wexler, Alvin Wexler, Rex Henley, Ricky Henley, Randy Henley, Keith Privette, Kevin Lowe, Junior Williams and Karen Privette.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the hospice nurses that took care of Mamaw.
