Madeline Greer

Madeline Greer, 67, of Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 13, 2013. She attended Open Arms Full Gospel Church. Madeline loved to ride in the Rolling Thunder Benefit Rides with her husband, John. She also loved partaking in military functions with John. Together they operated Greers Flying Service at the Johnson City Airport.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lilly Livesay, father, Dan Livesay, and sons, Dwayne and Jeff Tipton.

Madeline is survived by her husband, John Greer; stepsons, Bruce and Johnny Greer; three grandchildren; sisters, Fay Boggs and husband, Michael of Johnson City, TN, and Sue Crain and husband, Roger of Johnson City, TN; brother, David Livesay; special niece, Pam Boggs; and special friend, Diane Caldwell.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4-6:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 pm with Pastor Steve Potter officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday (August 19, 2013) at 11:30 a.m. at Mountain Home National Cemetery.
