Mae Gregg

Mae Gregg, 78, Greeneville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Franklin Woods Hospital. Mae was a member of Caney Creek Primitive Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Carl Gregg, her parents, 3 sisters and 4 brothers.

Mae is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Fields and husband, Ben; 5 sons, Carl Gregg and wife, Deborah, Clifford Gregg and wife, Freda, Mark Gregg and wife, Vicki, Roy Gregg and wife, Maria, and Cecil Gregg and wife, Barbara; numerous grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Ellen Dillard and husband, Bob, and Goldie Booker and husband, Virgil; brother, Gene Forbes; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-8:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm at Caney Creek Primitive Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Malone officiating. The burial will follow in Caney Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be James Gregg, Daniel Gregg, Brian Gregg, Josh Gregg, Benjamin Fields and Barbara Gregg.
