Malcolm "Mac" Harris
Mac Harris, 74, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
A native of Honaker, VA, Mac was the son of the late Kelly and Edith Harris. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the United Mine Workers. He retired as a coal miner after many years. He was of the Christian faith. He was a loving husband, brother, and friend.
Mac is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Martha Nickels Harris; daughter, Tiffany Castle and husband, William; two grandchildren; two sisters, Glenda Lowe and husband, Roby, and Shirley Miller and friend, Wayne; two brothers, Harold Harris and wife, Narcie, and Dallas Harris and wife, Violet; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A private family service will be held in Honaker, VA, at a later date.
