Marcha L. Ward

Marcha L. Ward, 77, Jonesborough, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, August 31, 2013.

She was born in Los Angeles, CA, where she resided most of her life before moving to Jonesborough in 2004. Marcha retired from Motorola in California and had been a homemaker. She was a Methodist and attended Life Fellowship Baptist Church in Johnson City. She loved animals.

Marcha was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Tracy, and her parents, Richard and Marie Alexander.

She is survived by daughter, Jill Isner (Tim), Jonesborough; son, Jack Ward (Christine), Los Angeles, CA; five grandchildren, Melissa, John, Kelsey, Nicholas, and Emily; two great-grandchildren, Lisa and Robert; friend and father of children, Ascher Ward, Los Angeles, CA; sister Linda Kiple, Michigan; one niece and one nephew.

Memorial service will be Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport with Jacob Crawford officiating.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
