Margaret Sue Rhoton Boatright, 89, of Kingsport entered into eternal rest Tuesday morning, March 27, 2007 at her home. Sue was born in Dungannon, VA and had resided in Kingsport most of her life. She was a member of Mafair United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J. Milton Rhoton and Fannie Stair Rhoton; two brothers; and three sisters.
Surviving are her husband of seventy years, Robert F. Boatright of Kingsport; three daughters, Carolyn B. Allen and husband Jerry of Kingsport, Evelyn B. Adams of Gray, and Linda B. Olivieri of Sarasota, FL; one son, J. Robert Boatright and wife Sherry of Kingsport; seven grandchildren, Deborah A. Wallace, Amy A. Dinsmore, Lisa Shanklin, Kelly Gilliland, Brittany Birken, Brian Boatright, and Lauren Partin; nine great-grandchildren and special and devoted care givers, Joyce Shelton and Angela Graham.
Family will receive friends Thursday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.
Services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Steve Collins and
Dr. Jack C. Bishop, Jr. officiating.
Graveside services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
