Margaret Rachel Booher
Margaret Booher, 83, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord and meet her husband Monday, January 28, 2008, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and never met a stranger. Margaret will be missed by all who loved her.
Her husband of 56 years, Samuel E. Booher, preceded her in death.
Surviving are four sons, Sam Hartsock and wife, Carolyn of Cold Springs, Texas, Ron Booher and wife, Karen of Bristol, Alexander "Mitch" Booher and wife, Sherry of Bristol, Gary Tony Booher and wife, Sharon of Kingsport; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one sister, Louise Babb and husband, Ruben of Blountville.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. David Tydings officiating.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Berry, Jim Berry, Joe Repass, Randall Jeter, and Clyde Collins.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 208 Sunset Drive, Suite 113, Johnson City, TN 37664.
The family would like to thank Dr. Elizabeth Fox who took such good care of Mrs. Booher during her stay at Holston Valley.
