Margaret L. Dover Carson
Margaret L. Dover Carson, 88, of Kingsport passed away Monday 7-11-11 at Indian Path Medical Center following a brief illness. Born and raised in Columbia, SC, she had resided in Kingsport since 2009.
She worked at Airport High School and at Wise Furniture. She loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. Carson, Sr.; and her children, Harold W. Carson, Jr., and Margie C. Renfro.
Survivors include her son-in-law, James Renfro of Kingsport; 6 grandchildren, Karen Isaacs and husband, Anthony of Concord, NC; Tracey Taylor and husband, Shawn; Ashley Renfro, Robyn Renfro and fiancé, Jeff Connellya€"all of Kingsport, Emily Carson, Michael Renfro and wife, Jackie, of Asheville, NC; her brother, John E. Dover, Jr. and wife, Anne of Columbia, SC, and 7 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday July 13, 2011 at Southland Memorial Gardens in West Columbia SC.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the ASPCA / 424 East 92nd Street / NY, NY 10128 / www.aspca.org or to the American Diabetes Association / 1701 North Beauregard Street / Alexandria, VA 22311 / www.diabetes.org/
