Margaret Elizabeth Greene

Margaret Elizabeth Greene, 74, of Kingsport, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018. She worked a short time for Mason-Dixon and as a dental assistant for Dr. Tom Brown. Margaret also did upholstery work for several years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Rose Shipp; sister, Helen Shipp Cradic; and niece, Tammy Carroll Higgins.
Margaret is survived by her husband of 56 years, Carl (Eddie) Edward Greene; sons, Todd Greene and wife Cathy, and Mark Allen Greene; grandchildren, Shelby and Zachary Greene, Luke, Brett and Anthony Greene; sister, Carol Carroll and husband Bennie Carroll, Mary Birdwell; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Todd Jennings officiating.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 24, 2018, at East Tennessee Cemetery.
