Margaret Ferguson

Margaret Maggie Ferguson, 72, Kingsport went to be with the Lord Monday, October 29, 2007, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Mabe, Virginia, but had resided most of her life in Kingsport. Margaret was a member of Spires Chapel Church.

Preceding her in death were one son, Teddy Sellers; her parents, Kyle and Dorothy Lawson; and a brother Jim Lawson.

Surviving are her husband, Ed Ferguson, Kingsport; three daughters, Sherry Ryans and husband, Ivan, Gray, TN, Suzanne Finley, Jonesborough, Dannah Bailey and husband, Tim, Kingsport; three sons, Eddie Ferguson and wife, Brenda, Kingsport, Lowell Ferguson and wife, Susan, Orlando, FL, Larry Ferguson and wife, Pam, Kingsport; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Kennamer, Guntersville, AL, Ruth Taylor and husband, Wayne, Church Hill, Janet Crabtree and husband, Lloyd, Blountville; three brothers, Darrell Lawson and wife, Diane, Rossville, GA, Randall Lawson, Kingsport, Larry Lawson, Kingsport; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Wayne Waycaster and Rev. Anthony Lawson officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Holston View Cemetery.
Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
