Margaret Morelock Gibson

Margaret Morelock Gibson, 86, passed away on March 30, 2025. She was born in Kingsport, TN and resided in Sullivan Gardens until she married and then made her home in Fall Branch, TN for her remaining years. She was a life-long member of Glen Alpine United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Gibson; parents, Grace and Lyle Morelock; brother, Doyle Morelock; and sister, Helen Andrews.

A loving mother and grandmother, Margaret is survived by her son, Greg Gibson (Tammy Whittemore); daughter, Julie (Anthony) Armstrong; grandsons, Logan (Abby) Armstrong and Eric (Kalan) Armstrong; sister-in-law, Jane (John) Carr; brother-in-law, Bill (Carolyn) Gibson; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Lisa Bryant officiating.
