Margaret Hayes Clark

Margaret Clark went to be with the Lord on April 9, 2025, at Ballad Hospice House, Bristol, Tennessee. Born in Blountville, she has lived in this area all her life. Margaret was Director of Administrative Services at Frontier Health for many years. These last 29 years, she was the owner of Best Uniform Center. She enjoyed working out in the yard and tending to her flowers. Margaret was dearly loved and devoted to her family.

Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Burton and Mary Holland Hayes; sisters, Polly Hayes Huffman and Nancy Pauline Gibson; brothers, Frank Burton Hayes, Jr., Ray Hayes and Adam Hayes.

Those left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 55 years, Mack Clark; sons, Eric Clark and wife, Kimberly and John Clark and wife, Tammy; 7 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Chrislyn, Paige, Ricky, Ashley, Brittany and Natalie; brothers, James Hayes, Hiram Hayes and Willard Hayes and wife, Iva Dale; sisters, Betty Bowers and husband Bobby, Sue Huffman, Flora Bowers and husband Mike; sister-in-law, Kathy Little; special nieces, Connie Strouth, Lillie Moore and Vanessa Fleming and several nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 2 – 4 p.m. in chapel of Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Blountville, Tennessee. The funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Bradley Reider. Burial will follow in the Garden of Avenue of Flags.

Pallbearers will be Bryant Fleming, Brian Huffman, Chris Huffman, Aaron Strouth, Andrew Strouth, Barry Bowers, Mike Hayes and John Girten. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Bowers, John Huffman and Mike Bowers.
