Margaret Pollard

Margaret Pollard, 93, of Kingsport has gone to sleep in Jesus on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at her home. Born in Campbell County, Tennessee and raised in Elizabethton, she later moved to Kingsport. Margaret then went to work at Copeland Office Equipment with her sister and brother-in-law, where she met her husband Gregory. Her passion was the business and customers. Margaret was born of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gregory R. Pollard; two sisters, Nannie Joe Ritchie and Blanche Pauline Copeland; and two brothers, A.E. Miller, and H.K. Miller.

Margaret is survived by her son, Scott Pollard and wife Cathy of Kingsport; grandchildren, Ben Pollard and Anna Pollard; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. James Pollock officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at East Lawn Memorial Park.
