Margaret Ruth Pendleton Quillen, 84, Kingsport, departed this world Friday, October 5, 2007 at 10:29 p.m. after an extended illness.
She was a devoted servant of the Lord and had prepared for this journey all her life.
Preceding her in death were her husband of 33 years, Robert Allen Quillen; her two sons, Olaf Allen Quillen and Robert Eugene Quillen; her father, W. R. Pendleton; and mother, Ethel Rebecca Blair Pendleton.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Quillen, Gray; four grandaughters and two grandsons; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Roger Pendleton; a sister, Juanita ?Jo? Egan, Kingsport; niece, Eva Rhea Phillips, Newport, TN; and nephew, Richard Jackson, Wyoming.
A private family graveside service will be held Monday at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Dr. Roy Lee Lester officiating.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 208 Sunset Drive, Suite 113, Johnson City, TN 37604.
