Margaret Irene McCoy Slusher
Margaret Irene McCoy Slusher, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. Born in Wise, VA, she had lived in Kingsport most of her life and attended Mercy Seat Ministries.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Worley and Myra McCoy; three brothers, Ernest, Robert and James McCoy; and two nephews, Ronald Haynes and Chris Light.
Margaret is survived by her husband of 43 years, George Slusher; five sisters, Beth Light, Ethel Haynes, Jerline Fugate and husband, Frank, Peggy Lane and Patricia Mullins, all of Kingsport; several nieces and nephews; and special great-nephew, Chad Jiminez.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 18, 2011 from 2-4:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport.
Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, December 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at East Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Tommy Parrish officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
