Margie Burdine Orfield

Margie Burdine Orfield, 94, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 19, 2018. She was the daughter of the late R.C. and Carrie Burdine. Margie was of the Methodist faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Luther (Jack) Orfield, son in law, Bill Jones, five brothers and 1 sister.

Margie is survived by her daughter, Jackie Jones; her son, Ricky Jones; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12-2:00 pm on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm Rev. Larry Spivey officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Memorial Park.
