Margie Mae Cain

Margie Mae Cain, 84, of Fall Branch, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 11, 2010 in the Wilcox Hall of Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital.

Margie was born in Turkey Knob, West Virginia, and had lived in Fall Branch for most of her life. She was of the Baptist faith. Margie loved to camp, and most recently enjoyed camping at Greenlee Campground on Cherokee Lake.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Pearl L. Prather Hypes; a son, Robert E. Cain, Jr. Bobby; three brothers, one sister; and a grandson, Billy Scott Wagoner.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Robert E. Cain, of the home; one daughter, Jeanette Wagoner and husband, Ronald, of Fall Branch; two sons, James M. Cain Jimbo and special friend, Connie Crawford, Fall Branch, and Eddie Cain and wife, Brenda, Fall Branch; one brother, J. D. Hypes and wife, Mary Ann, Brooksville, FL; eleven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 13, 2010 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson, Fall Branch. Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Vic Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at Gunnings Cemetery in Blountville, with Josh Wagner, Sidney Wagner, Travis Cain, Mark Wade, Jamie Cain, and Gene Crawford serving as pallbearers.
