Margie Crumley Montieth

Margie Crumley Montieth, 80, of Kingsport, entered into rest with her heavenly father Sunday, October 9, 2016, at Asbury Place. Her home church was Holy Mountain Baptist. She was a long time member of Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church. Margie was an employee of Aunt Emma's at Roses.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Montieth; mother, Vida Brown Crumley; father, Rome Crumley; stepdaughter, Michelle Montieth; sisters, Marcella Dean Starnes and Ramel Poe; and brothers, Doyle Crumley and Raymond Crumley.

Margie is survived by her stepdaughter, Dawn Montieth Brackett (Brian) and step-grandchildren, Jonathan Brackett and Jaqueline Brackett, all of Rome, Georgia; stepson, Roger Montieth (Mandy) of Greeneville; brother-in-law, Jackie (Deanie) Montieth; sister-in-law, Nancy (Johnny) Cooper; nephews, Gale and Rick Starnes; several other nieces and nephews; and many good friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow with Pastor Jerry Musick officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Those wishing to attend the graveside are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:45 a.m.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
