Marie C. Marsh

Marie C. Marsh, 87, Mt. Carmel, passed away at Indian Path Medical Center with her family by her side, following a brief illness. Born in Jonesville, VA, she graduated from Washington College Academy in 1945. Marie was employed at Kingsport Press, Harper & Ladd Supermarket and retired from Indian Path Medical Center as an LPN. She was a 65 year member of Oak Grove Baptist Church

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Marsh.

Marie is survived by their children; Mrs. Barry "Sue" Pope of Howell, New Jersey, Keith and Brenda Marsh of Mt. Carmel, Mrs. Jerry "Deb" Miller of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren Doni Larkin Hensley, Brian and Wesley Marsh, Heather Miller Carlton, Austin and Ashleigh Miller; great-grandchildren Caitlyn Hensley, Shepherd and newborn, Liv Carlton; and special dog "Peanut."

Visitation will be on Friday, September 30th from 5-7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. Services will follow at 7:00 p.m., Rev. Randall Pressnell officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 1st at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Mt. Carmel.

Pallbearers will be David Waters, Wesley Marsh, Brian Marsh, Austin Miller, Steve Hensley and Jerry Falin. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Bevins, Jim Estes, Johnny Parker and Ben Moore.
