Marie Thompson
Marie Thompson, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Monday morning, February 18, 2013, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. She was born in Sullivan County where she lived most of her life. Marie was a member of Clouds Bend United Methodist Church of Kingsport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Thompson, and special aunt, Sallie Wilson.
Marie is survived by two daughters, Alicia Freeman of Summerville, SC and Lisa Hartsock and husband, Virgil of Kingsport; son, Phillip Mowell of Jacksonville, FL; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ruby Cloud of Kingsport; six cousins, Dennie Crawford of Kingsport, Pat Summey of Kingsport, Bessie Quesenberry of Summerville, SC, Jennie Gilliam of Kingsport, Barbara Calhoun of Kingsport, and David Crawford of Kingsport; and numerous friends.
Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday at 11:30 at Mountain Home National Cemetery with Rev. Charley Jarrett officiating.
