Marie Williams

Marie Williams went to be with her heavenly father on Saturday, December 6, 2008.

She was a lifelong resident of the West View Community. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents William Bill and Nancy McGhee; husband, Clarence Williams; children, Phillip Ranny and Danny Williams; sisters, Lucille McGhee and Hazel Nelms; brother, William Junior McGhee and daughter-in-law, Inez Williams.

She is survived by her sons, Bobby Williams, Sammy Williams and wife Pam, and Terry Williams; daughter, Peggy Williams; sister, Jean Robinette; brothers, Charles McGhee and Otis McGhee; grandchildren, Peggy Galloway and husband Eddie, Phillip Williams, Chanda Winegar and husband Alan, Chayna Crawford and husband Robbie, Branten Williams, Kim Williams, Jacob Williams and Laura Williams; great-grandchildren, Ashley and Allison Galloway, Shandi Coates, Emily and Megan Winegar, Shayden and Gaige Crawford; great-great-grandchildren, Landon Dingus and Kaylen Coates; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of Church Hill Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center for their care of Marie.

The family will receive friends anytime at the home of the son and daughter Bobby and Peggy Williams.

Calling hours will be 5 to 7:00 p.m. Monday at Central Assembly of God on McGhee Street. Services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Monday at the church with Elijah Woods officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 noon Tuesday at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church at 11:30 a.m.

Pallbearers will be Rodney McGhee, Ronald McGhee, Steve Nelms, Alan Winegar, Robbie Crawford, and Jackie Conkin.
