Marion "June" Ellis

Marion "June" Ellis, 78, Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 30, 2014. She enjoyed her garden and working in her flowerbeds and loved her family and their holiday gatherings. June attended Holy Mountain Baptist Church for 20+ years, where she sang in the choir.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred C. Ellis, son, Donald Ward and grandson, Josh Calhoun.

June is survived by her children, Debbie Simpson (Robert), Allen Ward (Sandy), and Sabrina Calhoun (Robert); grandchildren, Tricina Richards, David Crumley, John Crumley, Justin Calhoun, Timmy Crumley, Nicole Ward and Donald Ward, Jr.; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends any time at the home of her son, Allen Ward and on Sunday from 2-4:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 pm with Pastor Jerry Musick officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday at Tri-Cities Memory Gardens at 11:00 am.
