Marjorie Pauline Cox

Marjorie Pauline Cox, 83, of Fall Branch, went to be with the Lord Friday, October 18, 2013, at Life Care Center Gray following a brief illness.

She was a native and life-long resident of Washington County. Marjorie was a homemaker and a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Cox was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Carl Elmer Cox; and two brothers, Elmer Luster and Joe Luster.

She is survived by her son, Carl Allen Cox and wife, Martha, Fall Branch; three grandchildren, Brent Cox and wife, Jeri, Casey Cox, and Buffy Casey and husband, Robert; four great-grandchildren, Kaleb and Codie Cox, Cheyenne Cox, and Cole Casey; two sisters, Cindi Earhart and husband Tom, Ft. Myers, FL, and Nancy Morley and husband Kay, Limestone, TN; three brothers, Tommy Luster and wife Nancy, Jonesborough, Gary Luster, Kingsport, and Kenny Luster and wife, Jeanette, Jonesborough; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2013, at Hamlett-Dobson Chapel, Fall Branch. The funeral service will follow with Rev. Victor Wallace officiating.

The graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 21, 2013, at Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
