Mark Maddux

Mark Maddux, 75, of Kingsport, passed away peacefully, Monday afternoon, April 24, 2023. He was born in Kingsport, where he had lived for most of his life. Mark was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Festus and Ursula Maddux; brother, Donny Maddux.

Survivors include two sons, Scott Maddux and Lance Maddux and fiancée, Valerie; stepdaughter, Emily Landrum; stepson, Michael Kahill; two granddaughters, Lauren Maddux and Megan Maddux; two sisters, Evelyn Maddux and Teresa Galloway and husband, Bobby; mother of his children, Melinda Maddux; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Holston Manor.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 11:00am at Mountain Home National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
