Mark E. Taylor, 45, of Kingsport, passed away suddenly on December 11, 2009 at Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital.
Mark was raised in the First Baptist Church. He graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School and also attended Lenore Rhyne University and East Tennessee State University. He was the owner of Marquis Jewelry and later owned Classic Pawn.
He was preceded in death by his father, C. M. Taylor; and brother, Cary Taylor.
Survivors include his wife of twelve years, Tabitha Taylor; mother, Kathryn Taylor; brother, Stewart Taylor and wife Sheila; nephews, Morgan, Carson, Russell, Whitney and Cornell Taylor; sister-in-law, Paula Taylor; two aunts, Frances Dozark and husband Wayne and Sandy Wilds; and uncles, Orbin Taylor and wife Shirley and Aaron Taylor.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00p.m. Sunday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Marvin Cameron officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
