Mark Anthony Wells

Mark Anthony Wells, 50, of Kingsport, TN, passed away suddenly on August 15, 2022. He was the embodiment of a true people person. Mark had a talent for making people laugh and happiness followed him everywhere. Having grown up in Virginia, Mark and his wife moved to Kingsport in 1996. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, and friend who loved his God, his country, and giving back to his community by serving as a Sullivan County Constable. Mark has left us far too soon, but we know there is a day we will meet again.

He is survived by his lifelong sweetheart of 31 years and wife of 23 years, Natalie Wells; daughter, Hunter Wells; son, Ross Wells; parents, Doris and Tommy Wells; and brother, Tommy Wells II.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, August 22, 2022, at Higher Ground Baptist Church. A Celebration of Life will follow at 7:30 p.m. with Pastor Ronnie Owens and Pastor Richard Isaacs officiating.
