Marlyn Hayes

Maryln Hayes, 78, of the Ducktown Community, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Takoma Hospital. She worked as a homemaker. Marlyn was greatly loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Beulah Johnson, husband, Joe Hayes, son, Stacy Hayes, sister, Wanda McCrary and nephew, Dennis Thornburg.

Maryln is survived by her 3 daughters, Donna and Chris Sexton, Lisa and Greg Rasnake and Tracy Hayes; sister, Imogene Hensley; grandchildren, Terry Joe McMackin and wife, Sarah, Shonna Tipton and husband, Dwayne, Nakeshia Rasnake, Jodie Rasnake, Hunter Hayes, Justin Keys, Zane Hayes and Blakelyn Hayes; great-grandchildren, Chayton McMackin, Coby Whaley, Chesney Tipton, Shayna Turner, Sutton Jones, Shyla Kinsler and Owen McMackin; many beloved nephews and special nieces, Rita, Angie, Donila, Linda Sue and Eula; 6 special friends, Brenda Malone, Sheila Shelton, June Light, Penny Light, Madge Jones, and Autumn Ferguson; and her many special friends at Signature Health Care Center.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 5-7:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch. The funeral will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Glenn McCracken officiating.

The graveside service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm at Cherry Hill Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chris Sexton, Greg Rasnake, Ricky McCrary, Cliff McCrary, Terry Joe McMackin, Adam Smith and Travis Gamble. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Lynn Hensley, Ronald Hensley, Gary Hensley, Wayne Davis, Junior Davis, Dr. E.B. Smith, Nick Shepherd and Ricky Crawford.
