Martha Ann Hall-Powers
Martha Ann Hall-Powers, of Kingsport, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 23, 2012, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center, following a lengthy illness. She was born in Clintwood, VA and resided in Kingsport most of her life. She was of the Holiness faith. She loved her little dog "Trix" and watching television.
Martha Ann was preceded in death by her parents, William and Katie Hall; brothers, Paul Gene Hall, Delmar Hall and James Hall; sister, Juanita Jessee.
She is survived by her son, Kenny Byrd and wife, Mary; grandson, Robbie Byrd; sister, Mary Hall; brothers, Burley Hall and wife, Mary, John Hall and wife, Jean, all of Kingsport; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5-7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Missionary Evangelist Robert Odle and Pastor John Hall officiating.
Graveside services will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Old Kingsport Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
