Martha Lou Haywood

Martha Lou Haywood, 73, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on September 29, 2010. She took great joy in Christ and in her children and grandchildren. She was Mom to so many and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Martha and Cecil Sigafoose, sisters, Marcia Philhower and Coralie Meyerand, sons, Michael and Patrick Steinmann, and daughter-in-law Corrina Steinmann.

She is survived by her children, Connie Keels and husband, Kenny, Lorinda Starks, Martha Garel and husband, Teffin, Jeffrey Steinmann and wife, Joylene, Steven Steinmann, Georganna Rosel, M.D. and husband, Randy, and Kristen Haywood; sister, Rosalie Ulibarri; brother, Cecil Sigafoose and wife, Jean; 22 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and lifelong friends, Richard and Ashley Taylor.

Receiving of friends will be at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home in Kingsport, TN, on Saturday, October 2, from 4-6 pm with services at 6 pm, sermon by Pastor Terry Whitson. Graveside services will be at Gunning's Cemetery on Sunday at 12:00pm. Pallbearers include Jerry Haywood, Joshua Steinmann, Justin Steinmann, Teffin Goss, Jacob Garel, and Capt. Heath Mullins. Honorary pallbearer is Floyd Carter.
