Martha E. Galloway Hite, 70, 241 Galloway Road, Kingsport, died at 5:30 a.m. Monday, October 22, 2007, at her home.
She lived her entire life in the Rock Springs Community and was a faithful member of the Rock Springs United Methodist Church.
Martha was a loving mother, a friend to all, and never met a stranger.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Hite.
Surviving are her daughter and favorite son-in-law, Barbara and Charles Ketron; two sons, David and Scott Hite, and No. 1 daughter-in-law, Sharon Hite; grandchildren, Travis Ketron, Amanda Marshall, Rachael Hill, Joshua Hite, Jacob Hite, Ashley Hite, Tyler Hite, Samantha Hite, Rhianna Hite; great-grandchildren, Titus Hite, Caden Marshall, James Hill, Carter Hill; one sister, Poodle Brooks; and a special caregiver, April Bull, and her beloved baby Maggie May, all of Kingsport; and a host of loved ones and friends.
The family will receive friends any time at the home and Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Rock Springs United Methodist Church. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the church with Pastor Joseph W. Manis officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Rock Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons and other family members.
