Martin Daniel Trent, 51, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2010.
He was born in Kingsport and was a lifelong resident of Bristol, TN.
He was preceded in death by a son, Martin Danny Trent, Jr.; a daughter, Jeannie Lynn Trent; parents, Paul and Rachel Trent; sister, Janie Trent; and his in-laws, Rev. and Mrs. Louise William Booher.
Surviving Dan is his wife of 31 years, Virginia Diane Trent; daughters, Marsha Trent, and Jessica Trent and fiancé Justin Faris. He left behind many brothers and sisters: Sam and wife, JoAnn, of Kingsport, John and wife, Tammy, of Telford and Kaleva, MI, David and wife, Margaret, of Maynardville, Susie and husband, Stuart Wright, of Kingsport, his twin, Steve and wife, Libby, of Blountville, Rev. Joe and wife, Ruth, of Telford, Amy and husband, Rev. Eric Lockett, of Kingsport, and Heidi and husband, Jeff Emmert, of Kingsport. He is also survived by friend, Carol Combs, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Graveside services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with Rev. Dewey Shaffer and Rev. Joe Trent officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
